Hi, Ok, We want to implement the integration in the new AST PRO version to pickup the tracking info that Royal Mail updates in the the WC API order notes endpoint.
Do they provide the option to complete or not complete the order (send order emails) - do they send the order note email?
Can install the API Log plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rest-api-log/) and share with us the details of the API call that Royal Mail is doing to update the tracking info? you can search for the API call in this plguin by the order ID

Zorem: Great news. I will let you know the information about the Rest API in the next 24 hours. Click & Drop do provide you with the option to complete the order from their external website. It's passed back and usually happens in a few minutes.

Zorem: Yes that's right. When you send a package it pulls the information back into Woocommerce and displays in the notes section like the attached image. It's then taking that information and putting it into 'completed' emails to the customer that would be incredibly useful.

Jake, I have the C&D API set up with two woocommerce sites. The orders are pulled into Click and Drop, but the tracking info isn't sent to Order Notes or emailed to customers. What am I missing?

Gary H: You can configure C&D to pass the tracking information back into Woo order notes. It's in the C&D settings and then Integrations. See the attached image. I'm still trying to get that tracking information passed on to customer emails though. I have a developer working on it at the moment. It should be solved in a couple of days. I'll pass on where I get to. Feel free to contact me again if I forget.

Yeah I've got that set up with both websites, but not working for me. Interested in the information from your developer to see what makes this all work.
You would be in a better position to help zorem implement this into their pro version....good news!

Jake L: Another question Jake; are you using standard RM48 or Tracked 48 etc? I'm still trying to figure out why they don't send info to Order Notes. So not sure if this pro plugin will work for me.

Gary H: Yeah it's tracked 24 and tracked 48 we use. both seem to be passed back in order notes. plugin works well now. not sure what the problem could be. have you tried disconnecting and relinking the site?

Think I've identified the issue. Royal Mail claim that only Tracked 48 will send tracking numbers back to WooCommerce Order Notes and not the standard RM48 with delivery confirmation.
So I doubt that the AST pro plugin will work either unless I use the upgraded service.
"Please note, this feature will only send tracking numbers. Delivery confirmation numbers are used to confirm when your item has been delivered to the recipient, but they do not give the ability for your customers to track their item. As such, we cannot pass delivery confirmation number using this method. "
