my original question: I do not want email verification at checkout. I want it to be disabled. My plan was to use only the email verification during the sign up. I see that, if the customer register using the register form https://www.mysite.com/my-account/ the email verification works, but if the customer check the "create an account" and register while doing the checkout, no email verification is done. To sum up: people going to checkout should not see email verification pop up. BUt, if the person is checking out as guest and creating an account, I want the email verification to take place since this user is "registering" himself. Got it?
